Sony Interactive Entertainment will remove access to 551 films previously purchased on the UK PlayStation Store on Sept. 1, 2026, citing content licensing agreements with StudioCanal. According to BeInCrypto, Sony published a legal notice saying the removals follow the expiration of its licensing agreement with StudioCanal and offered no refunds or alternative compensation.
The affected titles include Terminator 2: Judgment Day, Rambo: First Blood, Bridget Jones’ Diary, Pan’s Labyrinth, and Paddington, and customers will lose access regardless of purchase history.
