England coach Thomas Tuchel said he is not afraid to rotate his squad for Saturday’s World Cup group match against Panama in New York, even though dropping points could cost England top spot in Group L, according to Yahoo Sports. England’s 0-0 draw with Ghana on Tuesday left them vulnerable to being overtaken by the winner of Croatia’s match against Carlos Queiroz’s side, with first place setting up a trip to Atlanta to face a third-placed finisher and second place sending them to Toronto to face Portugal or Colombia. Tuchel said he is considering “moderate” changes and hopes Bukayo Saka will be fit to start for the first time in the tournament after recovering from an Achilles issue, with Noni Madueke having started both matches on the right so far. He praised his centre backs, including Marc Guehi and Ezri Konsa, and said England’s performance in the goalless draw was not easy to watch.
