Anthropic Launches Claude Fable 5 and Claude Mythos 5 With New Safeguards

Anthropic made its Mythos-class Claude Fable 5 publicly available and launched Claude Mythos 5 with fewer restrictions for approved researchers. In the second sentence, according to BeInCrypto, Fable 5 ships with advanced safety guardrails, while sensitive cybersecurity and bio-risk queries are routed to Claude Opus 4.8; Anthropic says safeguards trigger in less than 5% of sessions. Pricing is $10 input / $50 output per million tokens. Mythos 5 access is limited to Project Glasswing partners and selected biology researchers, and business users face mandatory 30-day data retention. Fable 5 is included on Pro, Max, Team, and Enterprise plans until June 22, 2026.
