Fairshake PAC Invests $3.1M in Maryland Primary for Adrian Boafo

Protect Progress, an affiliate of the cryptocurrency political action committee Fairshake, has allocated approximately $3.1 million in advertising for Maryland's 5th Congressional District to support State Representative Adrian Boafo in the Democratic primary. According to Foresight News, recent polling by Clarity Campaign Labs, commissioned by Fairshake, shows Boafo leading the primary with 17% support, a significant increase from 10% in mid-April and 3% before the committee's involvement earlier this year. Previously, Protect Progress made several successful political investments in the Texas primary runoff. Boafo has also received endorsements from Maryland Senator Angela Alsobrooks and Governor Wes Moore, and he holds the highest favorability among all primary candidates at 40%.
