Custodia Bank has been granted additional time by Justice Neil Gorsuch to file a certiorari petition with the US Supreme Court, challenging the Federal Reserve's denial of a master account. According to BeInCrypto, the Wyoming-chartered digital asset bank now has until July 11, 2026, to submit its appeal. The case centers on whether the Federal Reserve has unlimited discretion to deny master accounts to eligible institutions, a decision that could impact fintech and crypto-native banks seeking direct access to Fedwire and ACH.
