According to Odaily, Bloomberg's compiled ship tracking data showed that only two ships entered the Persian Gulf on the day in question, while a fuel tanker appeared to pause on its way out. This slowdown in shipping occurred a day after two international supertankers left the waterway, causing a brief surge in energy exports. The fluctuation in shipping comes as the market awaits the outcome of U.S.-Iran negotiations aimed at resolving a conflict that nearly closed the Hormuz Strait. Previously, Iranian state television reported a draft memorandum of understanding, suggesting that maritime traffic in the Hormuz Strait could return to normal within a month, a claim that the U.S. has denied.
