Iranian Foreign Minister Araqchi announced at a press conference in New Delhi on the 15th that the Strait of Hormuz remains open to commercial vessels from friendly countries. According to Odaily, Araqchi stated that passage through the strait requires coordination with the Iranian military. He emphasized that the strait is open to all ships except those from hostile nations, reiterating that other countries' vessels need only coordinate with Iran's military.
