Payward to Acquire Reap Technologies for $600 Million to Boost Stablecoin Payments

Payward has announced an agreement to acquire Hong Kong-based Reap Technologies for up to $600 million. According to NS3.AI, the acquisition aims to enhance Payward's stablecoin payments and B2B infrastructure business. The transaction, which will be settled in cash and Payward stock, values Payward's equity at $20 billion. If regulators approve the deal, Reap Technologies will continue to operate as a standalone platform, with the transaction expected to close in the second half of 2026.
