U.S. Defense Secretary Confirms Safe Passage Through Hormuz Strait

U.S. Defense Secretary Hegseth announced that two American commercial vessels and a U.S. destroyer have successfully navigated the Hormuz Strait. According to Odaily, Hegseth stated, "The passage of two American commercial ships along with a U.S. destroyer demonstrates that the channel is open." He added, "We are aware that Iran is embarrassed by this fact. They claim control over the strait, but this is not the case." Currently, hundreds of ships worldwide are waiting to pass through the strait.
