In the past 24 hours, the cryptocurrency market saw liquidations totaling $189 million, according to Coinglass data. ChainCatcher reports that long positions accounted for $104 million of these liquidations, while short positions made up $85.38 million.
Bitcoin long positions experienced liquidations amounting to $30.45 million, and short positions saw $18 million in liquidations. Ethereum long positions faced $29.29 million in liquidations, with short positions seeing $14.17 million.
Additionally, a total of 85,173 traders were liquidated globally during this period. The largest single liquidation occurred on Hyperliquid's BTC-USD pair, valued at $3.58 million.
