Sullivan & Cromwell Apologizes for AI-Induced Errors in Court Filing

Wall Street law firm Sullivan & Cromwell has issued an apology to a federal judge following an emergency court filing that included approximately 40 incorrect citations and other errors attributed to AI hallucinations. According to NS3.AI, Andrew Dietderich, a representative of the firm, acknowledged that the firm's citation review policies were not adhered to in this instance. Sullivan & Cromwell is currently undertaking an internal investigation to address the issue and prevent future occurrences.
