Vercel Reports Unauthorized Access Due to Third-Party AI Tool Compromise

Vercel has disclosed that unauthorized access to certain internal systems occurred following the compromise of Context.ai, a third-party AI tool utilized by one of its employees. According to NS3.AI, the company indicated that a limited number of customer environment variables, which were not marked as sensitive, might have been exposed. However, Vercel assured that there is no evidence of tampering with sensitive data or the software supply chain.
