Ant Digital's CTO Introduces 4R Full-Stack Architecture at Hong Kong Web3 Carnival

Ant Digital CTO Yan Ying unveiled the '4R Full-Stack Architecture' at the 2026 Hong Kong Web3 Carnival, aiming to support the intelligent agent economy. According to Foresight News, this architecture encompasses four layers: Agentic Runtime, Payment Rails, Agent Registry, and Root Infrastructure, providing technical infrastructure for AI agents in identity, payment, risk control, and compliance. Yan highlighted four fundamental issues in the current intelligent agent economy: execution failures due to prompt logic flaws, a lack of credible identity for AI leading to accountability gaps, transaction barriers from human-targeted payment gateways, and collaboration risks due to untrusted agents. She emphasized that these challenges require a redesign from the foundational infrastructure level, rather than mere software fixes.
