Iran's Foreign Minister: U.S. and Israeli Actions Threaten Regional Security

On March 23, Iranian Foreign Minister Araqchi held a phone conversation with Turkish Foreign Minister Fidan to discuss regional developments and the impact of U.S.-Israeli conflicts on regional and global security. According to Jin10, Araqchi stated that attacks by the U.S. and Israel targeting Iranian civilians, including strikes on schools, hospitals, and residential areas, constitute acts of aggression. He affirmed Iran's commitment to defending its national sovereignty and territorial integrity. Araqchi emphasized that Iran's actions against certain military bases and facilities in the region are based on the right to self-defense and expressed regret over the use of some regional countries' territories for attacks against Iran. He also remarked that the current security situation in the Strait of Hormuz is a result of U.S. and Israeli military operations, and relevant countries should be held accountable.
